Jackson Hewitt - EMG is seeking a Seasonal Assistant District Manager to lead and develop seasonal teams across multiple stores. You will recruit, train, and optimize district operations, focusing on profitability and client service.

The role requires management experience, strong communication, and the ability to drive performance in a fast-paced retail tax environment. Start date Oct 5, 2026, end date Apr 24, 2027, with advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent related business experience; management or tax-related study preferred.
2 years of previous management or supervisory experience required with leadership ability.
Entrepreneurial mindset to drive results; tax knowledge preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal and client service skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee multi-unit retail locations in the district and assist District Manager to maximize efficiency and profitability.
Lead recruiting, interview seasonal employees and manage tax education/process flow.
Monitor performance, ensure quality standards, and coordinate with HR on training and discipline.
Ensure locations meet company standards for setup, technology, and facilities.
Drive client retention, handle complaints, and support escalation resolutions.
Review and manage district GL & P&L, revenue and tax return counts; hit district goals.
