Job summary

Family of Kidz in New York is seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time Behavior Consultant to support students in Lower Westchester. Compensation offers either $60-$80/hour (FFS) or $68,000-$80,000 annually, with benefits including insurance and retirement options. Travel between districts and collaboration with district teams are required.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's in ABA/Special Education/Psychology or related field, NYS driver's license, and BCBA certification (preferred).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field (ABA, Special Education, Psychology, Educational/Health/Human Services).
• BCBA certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate on function-based interventions.
• Design, implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to guide interventions.
• Provide coaching and training to classroom staff on behavior management.
• Support IEPs and CSE meetings with behavioral recommendations.
• Maintain documentation and ensure confidentiality.
