Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks a qualified Behavior Consultant (BCBA/LBA) to partner with schools in Lower Westchester, NY. The role supports individualized behavioral plans, FBAs, and data-driven interventions for students with special needs.

The position may be part-time, fee-for-service, or full-time, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff and opportunities for on-site district collaboration. BCBA certification is preferred, with travel between districts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or Educational/Health/Human Services.
• BCBA Certification (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year experience supporting children and families.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized behavioral supports with school teams.
• Conduct FBAs and identify function of behavior for effective interventions.
• Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to guide interventions.
• Provide coaching and feedback to classroom staff for consistent implementation.
• Support IEPs and alignment of behavioral programming with educational objectives.
• Attend CSE meetings to present progress and recommendations.
• Travel between assigned districts to provide on-site consultation.
