Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks a Behavior Consultant (BCBA/LBA) to partner with schools and families, conduct FBAs, design and monitor BIPs, and provide data-driven behavioral strategies. This role involves collaboration with educators, clinicians, and district teams across Lower Westchester, NY.

Compensation ranges for part-time to full-time arrangements, with benefits for full-time staff. Ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in relevant field, NYS license, and BCBA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, Educational/Health/Human Services.
• BCBA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience supporting children and families.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate with teams to identify function and intervention.
• Design, implement, and monitor BIPs aligned with student goals.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to guide interventions.
• Develop classroom-based supports to promote independence and engagement.
• Provide coaching and feedback to classroom staff for consistent practice.
• Collaborate on IEP goals and behavioral programming with district teams.
• Attend CSE meetings to present progress and recommendations.
• Maintain professional communication with supervisors and directors.
• Travel between school districts to provide on-site consultation.
