Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant / BCBA on Eastern Long Island, NY. The role supports students with behavioral needs within school settings and may be part-time or full-time, with compensation ranging from $40–$75 per hour (FFS) or $58,500–$75,000 annually.

Responsibilities include FBAs, BIPs, data-driven progress, and collaboration with school teams. Travel between districts is required with travel compensation and benefits outlined in the program.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• NYS BCBA/BCABA or LBA certification required.
• NYS Driver's License and proof of insurance.
• Minimum 1 year experience supporting children and families.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized behavioral supports with school teams.
• Conduct FBAs and identify functions of behavior.
• Design and monitor Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Collect and analyze data to guide interventions.
• Provide coaching to classroom staff on strategies.
• Collaborate with IEP teams and attend CSE meetings.
• Travel between school districts for on-site consultation.
