Samsara is seeking a Sales Engineer (SE) to join a diverse, technically minded team bringing connected operations technology to customers. You will handle logistics, fleet management, asset monitoring, and system integrations, ensuring the right technical solution is presented.

This remote role is open to candidates in the Southeast US region with relocation not provided, and you will collaborate with a high-performance team to impact operations globally.

Competenze

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1+ years of experience with customers in a pre-sales or support capacity.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with hardware, sensors, or vehicles is a plus.

• Become an expert on Samsara products and how they meet customer needs.
• Demonstrate quick and efficient discovery to understand customer needs and answer tech questions on a call.
• Be highly available for standard demo/account coverage and temporary technical expertise across the sales team.
• Understand how devices are installed and how to explain installation to prospects.
• Educate customers on technical aspects of APIs and deploy scripts leveraging the Samsara API in testing environments.
• Advocate for account executives, prospects, and customers in internal tech discussions.
• Serve as a liaison between product and sales, translating feedback and guiding beta programs.
• Champion Samsara’s values and operating principles as the company scales globally.
