Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a Sales Development Associate to join the Sales Development team. This development-focused role is designed for sales professionals preparing for permanent geographic territory alignment, and involves training across unassigned or high-volume market territories.

Essential functions include structured onboarding, peer shadowing, joint customer calls, and developmental pipeline support with background research and outbound outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) OR Four (4) years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience OR One (1) year of the Company’s B2B sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Structured Onboarding & Learning: participates in sales training covering products, services, supply chain solutions and CRM tools.
• Peer Shadowing & Mentorship: conducts structured shadowing to observe best practices in cold outreach, lead qualification, value proposition delivery, and handoffs.
• Joint Call Participation: engages in joint customer calls, call cycling and field visits to build sales competencies.
• Developmental Pipeline Support: assists active SDR II territories with research, outbound outreach and lead qualification under a secondary territory mapping framework.
• Performance Tracking & Feedback: participates in coaching, call and pipeline reviews to accelerate readiness for permanent territory assignment.
• Other Duties: performs other duties and special sales projects as assigned.
