Job summary

Thryv, Inc. is seeking an Outside Software Account Representative to grow SaaS clients in the local business market.

The role builds a pipeline from scratch via self-generated and company-initiated prospecting to meet a predefined sales quota, with more than 50% of work conducted outside the home office. You will identify and secure new SaaS clients, develop your own book of business, and collaborate with marketing and technology teams to execute sales strategies while guiding prospects through

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience required (preferably in a SaaS role or company).
• 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role required.
• Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
• Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new programs and systems.
• The Outside Software Account Representative conducts greater than 50% of their work outside of their home office.
• A valid driver's license and personal transportation are required for this role.
• Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1-hour commute)

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand Thryv's SaaS clients in the local business market.
• Build a personal pipeline from the ground up through self-generated and company-initiated prospecting to meet a sales quota.
• Add current Thryv clients to your book of business for growth opportunities.
• Identify and secure new SaaS clients by leveraging self-generated prospecting and company-initiated prospecting programs.
• Execute defined operational processes for client and prospect engagement, product certifications, order entry, etc.
• Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
