Job summary

Thryv, a leading SaaS provider for small and medium businesses, seeks an Outside Software Account Representative to grow Thryv's local SaaS client base. You will build your own pipeline through self-generated and company-initiated prospecting, qualify opportunities, and manage more than 50% of your work outside the home office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience required (preferably in a SaaS role)
• 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role required
• Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
• Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new programs and systems
• The Outside Software Account Representative conducts greater than 50% of their work outside of their home office.
• A valid driver's license and personal transportation are required for this role.
• Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1-hour commute)

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand Thryv's SaaS clients in the local business market
• Build personal pipeline from scratch via self-generated and company-initiated prospecting
• Add existing Thryv clients to book of business for growth opportunities
• Identify and secure new SaaS clients through self-generated prospecting and company programs
• Execute defined operational processes and requirements with excellence
• Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed
