Job summary

Thryv, Inc. is seeking an Outside Software Account Representative to grow its SaaS clients within the local business market.

You will build your own pipeline from scratch, prospecting networks and company-initiated programs to meet a sales quota, while adding existing Thryv clients to your book for expansion. You will conduct most work outside of a home office, partnering with marketing and technology teams to execute sales strategies and product demos.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience required (preferably in a SaaS role or company).
• 2+ years' experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role required
• Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
• Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS office and the ability to learn new programs and systems
• The Outside Software Account Representative conducts greater than 50% of their work outside of their home office.
• A valid driver's license and personal transportation are required for this role.
• Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1-hour commute)

Responsibilities

• Grow Thryv's SaaS clients in the local business market and expand the book of business.
• Identify and secure new SaaS clients through self-generated prospecting and company programs.
• Execute defined sales processes and maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records.
• Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
