Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Trainee to learn the essentials of field service, route coverage, and customer interaction. You will participate in hands-on training and support daily operations while preparing to transition into a full-time Route Service Representative role.

You’ll assist with deliveries, loading/unloading, and maintaining route accuracy. This position emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer focus across indoor and outdoor environments, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule

Qualifications

• Driver's license required with clean driving record.
• Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
• Ability to manage time effectively and stay on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a hands-on training program to prep for a Route Service Representative role.
• Assist with loading/unloading, and ensure accurate daily operations.
• Deliver clean garments and return soiled items on designated routes.
• Provide route coverage during absences and maintain high service standards.
• Operate a company walk-in truck on routes, prioritizing safety and customer relationships.
• Work in indoor/outdoor environments with attention to safety and energy.
• Support the Service Department by delivering reliable service and building client relationships.
• Maintain a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no nights or weekends.
