UniFirst is seeking a Route Trainee to start a rewarding career in field service and customer care. You will train through a hands-on Service Certificate Program while supporting daily operations and preparing to become a Route Service Representative.

You'll assist with deliveries, route coverage, and on-road customer interactions, learning multiple accounts and maintaining safety and efficiency on every stop. This role offers growth into a full-time field position with a stable weekday schedule.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Meet all DOT requirements, including a physical exam
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently while supporting a team
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus
• Comfortable using new technologies to enhance efficiency
• Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods

Responsabilidades

• Participate in UniFirst’s Service Certificate Program to prepare for a Route Service Representative role
• Assist service team by loading and unloading route trucks
• Deliver clean garments and products and return soiled items
• Provide route coverage when needed during RSR absences
• Operate a company walk‑in truck along designated routes and ensure safety
• Engage in physically active work across indoor and outdoor environments
• Contribute to service department success and build customer relationships
• Maintain a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no nights or weekends
