UniFirst Corporation is seeking a Route Trainee to begin a rewarding career in service and customer care. You will receive hands‑on training through robust programs while supporting daily operations and preparing to transition into a full‑time Route Service Representative role.

You’ll assist with deliveries, service, and route coverage, learning from experienced teams while growing your customer‑facing skills in a dynamic field role.

Qualifications

• Driver’s License and clean driving record; must be at least 21.
• DOT compliance: physical exam.
• Educational requirement: high school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Strong customer service skills; work independently yet team‑oriented.
• Experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech‑savvy; comfortable learning new tech for efficiency.
• Physical stamina: lift/carry/push up to 50 lbs; stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading/unloading route trucks and daily operations.
• Deliver clean garments and products, return soiled items; ensure timely service.
• Provide route coverage when needed during RSR absences.
• Operate a company walk‑in truck along designated routes with safety in mind.
• Engage in a physically active role across indoor/outdoor environments.
