Job summary

Mercy Virtual is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the vAcute program as a 24/7 RN in a nurse-led triage and education role. You'll provide patient education, care coordination, and ED handoff support across the care continuum in a remote, virtual setting.

The position requires 2-3 years in Med Surg/ED/CC, active RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS and other certs may be needed per unit. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (AD/Diploma/BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• 2–3 years of Med‑Surg, ED, or Critical Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as 24/7 point of contact for ED handoffs and scheduling.
• Facilitate patient enrollment and coordination across Mercy’s care continuum.
• Educate patients and coordinate care through the vAcute program.
