Job summary

Mercy Virtual is seeking an experienced RN to join the vAcute program in a 24/7 triage-and-care coordination role based in Missouri. You will provide patient-centered nursing care, education, and coordination across the care continuum, in accordance with Mercy policies and regulatory standards.

In this new initiative, you will serve as a 24/7 point of contact for ED handoffs, facilitate scheduling, and support patients enrolled in Mercy’s Intense Care Coordination program, with opportunities to

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing with either an ADN, Diploma, or BSN.
• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• 2-3 years of recent Med/Surg, ED, or Critical Care experience.
• Basic Life Support (AHA) or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Certifications such as ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Serve as 24/7 point of contact for ED handoffs.
• Facilitate scheduling and care coordination across the continuum.
• Support patients enrolled in Mercy’s Intense Care Coordination program.
• Adhere to Mercy rules, policies, and regulatory standards.
