Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Mercy Virtual triage program in the vAcute care setting. The RN will be a 24/7 point of contact for ED handoffs, facilitate scheduling, and support patients in Mercy’s Intense Care Coordination program across the care continuum.

This role requires an active RN license in the hiring state (or compact license), 2–3 years of Med-Surg, ED, or Critical Care experience, and Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• RN license in hiring state or compact license
• 2-3 years of recent experience in Med Surg, ED, or Critical Care
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA) or within 30 days of hire
• Possibly ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/PALS/PEARS/C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as 24/7 point of contact for ED handoffs and scheduling
• Support patients in Mercy’s Intense Care Coordination program across the care continuum
• Educate and coordinate care per Medical Director in vAcute program
