Job summary

The Goodwill Industries of Northern Michigan is seeking a Retail Team Lead to support store management, maintain high customer service standards, train staff, and drive sales and donations through daily operations.

Responsibilities include payroll review, attendance communication, cash handling, coaching, operating POS and forklifts, ensuring safety and compliance, and coordinating with management to meet goals.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Previous retail management experience preferred.
• Current valid driver’s license without restrictions.
• Operation of forklift, pallet jack, trash compactor required, or ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support the mission and vision of Goodwill Industries of Northern Michigan.
• Interact with all Goodwill team members, clients, and customers in a professional manner.
• Open and close the store, including balancing daily revenues and maintaining administrative duties.
• Ensure a high level of customer service for customers and donors.
• Coach staff in a consistent and positive manner.
• Assist in achieving sales and production goals.
