Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Retail Lead Supervisor for the Williamsburg location in the Finance area. This role oversees store operations in the absence of store leadership, ensures customer service excellence, and upholds merchandise standards.

Responsibilities include supervising associates, monitoring performance, and participating in production to hit store goals. Candidates should have a high school diploma and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred. Will consider a combination of education and work experience.
• 1 Year experience in a leadership role preferred.
• The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.
• The associate will be required to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Run store operations in the absence of the store and assistant manager.
• Monitor progress of associates toward goals and production.
• Participate in production to reach store goals as needed.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and visual merchandise presentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and model behavior.
• Assist store management with onboarding, monthly meetings, check-ins and appraisals.
• Solicit customer and associate feedback and act on it.
• Utilize management information tools to determine store activity and trends.
• Submit closing, accident, risk training, and Kronos reports on time in ROM/RAM absence.
• Communicate issues promptly with supervisor and management.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes, and people development.
• Fully participate in meetings and learning opportunities.
