Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking an on-site Store Supervisor to help lead a retail location, donation site and in-store production facility. In the absence of the store manager, you will direct tasks, monitor associate performance, ensure cleanliness and visual presentation, and model excellent customer service.

You will support management communications, gather feedback, use sales and production reports to identify trends, and participate in meetings and training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; combination of education and work experience considered.
• 1 Year experience in a leadership role preferred.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• The associate is required to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Run store operations in the absence of store/assistant manager; front end and production area.
• Monitor associates progress toward goals, including production and Round Up.
• Participate in production to meet store goals as needed.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and visual merchandising.
• Demonstrate and promote exceptional customer service standards.
