Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Supervisor to lead a retail location, donation site and in-store production facility. In the absence of the store manager and assistant store manager, you will direct the work of associates to meet store goals and act as a role model in appearance and customer service.

Responsibilities include running store operations in the absence of management, monitoring progress toward goals, participating in production as needed, maintaining cleanliness

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; combination of education and work experience considered.
• 1 year leadership experience preferred.
• Background check required.
• No professional certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Runs store operations in the absence of store/assistant manager, including front end and production areas.
• Monitors progress of associates toward goals and production metrics.
• Participates in production as needed to meet store goals.
• Maintains cleanliness and visual merchandising standards; delivers strong customer service.
• Supports store management with onboarding, monthly meetings and performance reviews.
• Solicits and acts on customer and associate feedback.
• Utilizes daily sales and reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Completes closing reports, incident reports, risk training and Kronos documentation on time.
• Communicates issues with store operations and personnel to management.
• Seeks opportunities to improve store efficiencies, processes and people development.
