Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Retail Lead Associate for Midlothian Crossing. In this role you will help run the store, donation site, and production facility, stepping in for the store manager when needed and guiding associates to meet goals.

You will monitor performance, uphold cleanliness and merchandising standards, and model exceptional customer service. The position requires evenings/weekends as business dictates and a background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; may consider combination of education and work experience.
• 1 year experience in a leadership role preferred.
• No professional certifications required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Direct store operations in the absence of store and assistant manager.
• Monitor progress toward goals and production metrics.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and visual merchandising.
• Provide exceptional customer service and lead by example.
• Assist with onboarding, monthly meetings, and performance feedback.
• Communicate issues promptly to management and drive process improvements.
