Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Retail Lead Associate in Suffolk to help manage a store, donation site, and in-store production facility in the absence of store leadership. You will guide associates, monitor production targets, and ensure clean, visually appealing merchandising while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role requires leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to support management through onboarding, meetings, and performance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 Year leadership experience preferred.
• No professional certifications are required.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Run store operations in the absence of store/assistant managers.
• Monitor associates and production targets to meet goals.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and visual presentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and lead by example.
• Communicate with management and participate in onboarding, meetings, and appraisals.
• Collect and act on customer and associate feedback.
• Use sales and production reports to track activity and trends.
• Submit required closing and training reports on time.
