Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as the front-line ambassador for our stores. You will greet customers, process sales orders, manage credit applications, handle cash, and support office operations to ensure a positive shopping experience.

The role requires strong customer service, familiarity with Microsoft Office and POS systems, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic system transactions.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk & Customer Service: greet customers and provide exceptional service.
• Sales Order Support: process orders, ensure documentation complete and approvals obtained.
• Customer Account Management: process credit applications and maintain account information.
• Cash Handling & Financial Procedures: follow cash handling procedures and reconcile transactions.
• Customer Issue Resolution: address inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Audit & Compliance Assistance: support audits and verify paperwork.
• Reporting & Documentation: maintain records and file sales and office paperwork.
• Team Collaboration: work with sales, merchandising, and store staff for seamless operations.
• Technology & Systems: use POS systems, retail software, and MS Office.
• Complete any additional tasks as assigned.
