Ashley Furniture seeks a Customer Service Representative to be the front-line ambassador, delivering exceptional service and supporting store operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers, handling administrative tasks and assisting with office functions to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

The position involves greeting customers, processing orders, managing accounts, handling cash, resolving issues, supporting audits, and collaborating with store teams.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or office experience preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US and 18+.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic system transactions.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk & Customer Service: greet customers warmly and handle in-person, phone, and email interactions.
• Sales Order Support: assist with processing sales orders with proper approvals.
• Customer Account Management: process credit applications and maintain customer data.
• Cash Handling & Financial Procedures: follow cash handling and reconcile transactions.
• Customer Issue Resolution: address inquiries and escalate as needed.
• Audit & Compliance Assistance: support audits and inventory processes.
• Reporting & Documentation: maintain records and prepare reports.
• Team Collaboration: work with sales, merchandising, and store staff.
• Technology & Systems: use POS, retail software, MS Office.
• Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management.
