Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet customers, handle orders, and support store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will assist with sales orders, credit applications, and financial transactions while maintaining accurate customer records and collaborating with the team. This role emphasizes excellent service, reliability, and adherence to policies in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk & Customer Service: greet customers warmly and provide service across in-person, phone, and email.
• Sales Order Support: assist processing orders with proper documentation and approvals.
• Customer Account Management: manage credit apps and financing; keep accounts accurate.
• Cash Handling & Financial Procedures: follow cash handling and reconcile transactions.
• Customer Issue Resolution: address inquiries and escalate issues when needed.
• Audit & Compliance Assistance: support audits and inventory processes.
• Reporting & Documentation: maintain records and file sales and office paperwork.
• Team Collaboration: work with sales, merchandising, and staff.
• Technology & Systems: use POS, retail software, and MS Office.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.
