Job summary

Ashley Furniture in the United States is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the front-line ambassador for the brand, greeting customers and delivering exceptional service at the store level.

You will process sales orders, manage customer accounts, handle cash, and use POS systems and Microsoft Office; collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless shopping experience, while supporting audits and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledgeable Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions
• 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience, preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; including rotation for store opening and closing responsibilities–various shifts
• Thrive in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent front-desk service.
• Process sales orders accurately and obtain necessary approvals.
• Manage customer accounts and financing applications.
• Handle cash and reconcile transactions.
• Resolve customer inquiries and escalate as needed.
• Assist audits, inventory, and compliance checks.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Collaborate with sales and store teams.
• Operate POS systems and MS Office tools.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.
