Job summary

E&H Ace Hardware in Solon, OH, is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Department Leads to drive sales and maintain department organization. You will own performance, presentation, and inventory in your assigned department(s) while delivering a high level of customer service.

This role requires leadership in a fast-paced retail environment, the ability to flex your schedule for evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lead by example and work well within a team.
• Familiarity with retail computer systems and Microsoft Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service to every customer using our sales culture.
• Answer questions, locate merchandise, and assist with orders.
• Promote Ace Rewards and help customers sign up.
• Maintain product knowledge and inventory in your department(s).
• Receive, stock, and merchandise products; ensure accurate signage.
• Open/close the store as needed and serve as a trusted keyholder.
• Balance safety and theft prevention measures and collaborate with store leadership.
