Job summary

E&H Ace Hardware in Chagrin Falls, OH is seeking a Department Lead to drive sales, maintain department organization, and support daily operations on the sales floor. You’ll own performance, presentation, and inventory for your department while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, retail or customer service experience, and the ability to lead by example. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lead by example and work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service to every customer in store.
• Own performance, presentation, and inventory of assigned department.
• Answer questions and assist with special orders.
• Promote the Ace Rewards program and enroll customers.
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory levels.
• Open and/or close the store as needed; serve as keyholder.
• Maintain department signage, cleanliness, and safety.
