Job summary

Sandbox VR in Eden Prairie, MN is hiring a Guest Experience Associate to greet guests, guide them through the VR journey, and help create unforgettable moments from arrival to wrap-up. You’ll be the friendly face that sets the energy in our store.

You’ll calibrate gear, prep iPads and trackers, sanitize equipment, and keep the store clean and welcoming. Weekend availability is required, and you’ll be encouraged to share offers to boost engagement while working closely with management and tech

Qualifications

• 1+ year in retail or hospitality
• Weekend availability required
• Physically able to stand, lift up to 40 lb, and climb stairs
• Egoless, coachable and team-focused
• Reliable and punctual

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and guide them through the VR journey
• Calibrate gear, prepare iPads/body trackers, and sanitize gear
• Upsell offers (F&B, gift cards, repeat visits) to boost engagement
• Maintain a spotless, high-energy store that meets Sandbox VR standards
• Coordinate with management and tech support as issues arise
• Communicate clearly with guests about sessions and wait times

What You Will Be Doing:

• Create Unforgettable Guest Moments
• Greet guests with energy and invite them into an exciting, welcoming environment
• Guide guests through the VR journey: arrival, gearing up, gameplay, and wrap-up
• Proactively share offers (F&B, repeat visits, gift cards) to boost engagement
• Be a Tech & Experience Expert
• Master our proprietary tech and keep gear calibrated
• Troubleshoot issues smoothly and provide real-time, light-hearted updates to guests
• Communicate with management and tech support when issues arise, clearly and quickly
• Keep Things Running Smoothly
• Maintain a spotless, high-energy store that meets Sandbox VR standards
• Sanitize gear thoroughly and display materials/gift cards to brand expectations
• Prepare iPads, body trackers, and gear before and after every session
