Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Rapid City, SD is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing drive-in operations. You will train and coach team members, ensure food quality, cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction, and handle opening/closing duties.

Prior supervisory or managerial experience is highly desirable; a strong leadership and customer-service mindset is preferred for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in training and coaching restaurant staff.
• Experience in supervising drive-in restaurant operations.
• Prior experience as manager/supervisor is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to meet standards.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing, inventory and food cost; completes weekly inventory.
• Maintains files, records and documentation.
• Ensures customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Responds to guest requests and resolves complaints.
