Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running day-to-day drive-in operations, supervise staff, and uphold food safety and cleanliness standards. You’ll train crew members, monitor service quality, and handle opening/closing duties to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Ideal candidates have several months of restaurant management or related leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry-level retail management experience.
• Ability to train, coach and supervise employees effectively.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, monitor and coach Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to meet service standards.
• Oversee opening/closing duties and inventory control.
• Maintain documentation and enforce policies and procedures.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and respond to issues promptly.
