Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily drive-in operations. You will help train team members, uphold quality food, safe and efficient service, and maintain a guest-focused environment.

You will manage opening/closing duties, monitor staffing and inventory, and reinforce customer service throughout shifts while adapting to irregular hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience required.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication, basic math, reading and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
• Train and support other employees to ensure quality food and service.
• Open and/or close the drive-in restaurant.
• Monitor staffing levels, inventory, and food cost control.
• Ensure customer service remains a priority and guest requests are handled promptly.
