Job summary

Harri is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a single QSR location in Rialto, CA. The AGM partners with the GM to lead front and back of house, focusing on execution, team development, and performance improvement.

Responsibilities include labor and cost controls, staffing, training, safety compliance, and guest recovery. This role develops Shift Supervisors and ensures brand standards are met daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a QSR or similar environment.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team.
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, and food safety practices.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supports BOH and FOH daily operations to ensure consistent execution of standards and guest service expectations.
• Assists GM in managing labor, food cost, inventory, and daily performance metrics.
• Analyzes operations data and supports action plans to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Ensures operational readiness during shifts by addressing staffing and execution gaps.
• Manages third-party delivery services and maintains quality of food and service.
• Leads Shift Supervisors and team through coaching and role modeling.
• Supports onboarding and training of new hires to ensure understanding of duties and standards.
• Reinforces policies and brand standards through hands-on leadership.
• Ensures training and certifications are completed and maintained.
• Promotes a guest-first culture and handles guest concerns and recovery as needed.
• Escalates complex issues to GM when required.
• Maintains consistent guest interactions and monitors service standards.
• Manages guest sentiments via in-person feedback and review sources (e.g., Yelp, Google).
• Assists GM with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding team members.
• Supports real-time staffing adjustments and schedule execution.
• Enforces attendance and punctuality according to policy.
• Ensures daily compliance with food safety, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Conducts routine checks of BOH/FOH to identify safety or facility concerns.
• Reports maintenance or safety issues promptly to GM.
• Supports compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Maintains communication with GM regarding operations, staffing, and performance.
• Collaborates with HR, Training, and Operations as directed.
• Communicates clearly with team for alignment and execution.
• Performs other duties as assigned by GM and obtains ServSafe certification within 30 days.
