Miguel's Jr. in Murrieta is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee Front and Back of House operations, partner with the GM, and lead a diverse restaurant team toward consistent guest satisfaction.

The AGM will focus on execution, performance metrics, and staff development, serving as a pipeline for future General Manager roles. Strong leadership, English fluency, and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a QSR or similar environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team.
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, and food safety practices.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supports BOH and FOH daily operations to ensure guest service standards.
• Assists GM with labor, food cost, inventory, and performance metrics.
• Leads Shift Supervisors and team through coaching and role modeling.
• Oversees onboarding and training of new hires.
• Maintains safety, sanitation, and compliance with policies.
• Addresses guest concerns and supports guest recovery with the GM.
• Manages scheduling, staffing adjustments, and attendance expectations.
• Ensures ServSafe certification within 30 days of hire.
