Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a General Manager in Columbus, OH to lead and grow a student living community. You will drive daily operations, oversee staffing and budgets, and ensure exceptional resident experiences in a fast-paced collegiate setting.

As a customer‑centric leader, you will partner with Talent Acquisition, HR and legal to staff, train, and manage performance. You will also own capital projects, risk management and compliance to deliver solid NOI and market competitiveness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience managing living communities and a team of 3+
• Strong leadership and guest/customer experiences oriented
• Proven budgeting, scheduling and vendor management capabilities

Responsibilities

• Staff development and leadership to attract, retain and train top team members
• Oversee property staffing, scheduling and on‑call coverage
• Manage property administration, policies, emergencies and vendor relations
• Oversee facilities, capital projects and inspections, ensuring safety and compliance
• Lead annual turnover planning and execution with cross‑functional teams
• Drive customer experience and leasing performance to achieve revenue targets
