Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in supervising all operations for a student housing community. The role emphasizes a customer-centric mindset, action bias and adaptability in a fast-paced campus environment.

Responsibilities span staffing, property administration, facilities coordination and financial performance, with a focus on delivering a well-maintained, safe and engaging resident experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience working at living communities or property management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with attracting candidates on and off campus, hiring new team members and improving retention.
• Assist GM with training, coaching and leadership of team members.
• Manage onsite schedule and after-hour on-call shifts with GM guidance.
• Elevate employee experience through data, conversations and team building to maintain high morale.
• Oversee resident accounts, billing, and audits; support turnover planning and vendor coordination.
