Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a General Manager to lead our student living community operations. You will drive performance across staffing, budgeting, vendor management and guest experience, while maintaining high standards of service and safety.

As a customer-centric leader, you will navigate a fast-paced collegiate environment, making quick, quality decisions and guiding a results-oriented team to meet revenue targets and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Exceptional written and verbal communicator with guest-facing experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage vendors and confidential information.
• Customer-centric mindset with leadership experience.
• 3+ years managing living communities with a 3+ member team.
• Proficient in property management systems (Entrata preferred).

Responsibilities

• Staff development and leadership: recruit, train and guide exceptional team members.
• Property administration: manage market conditions, policies, onsite emergencies.
• Facilities & capital: oversee safe, sanitary community experiences and capital projects.
• Annual turnover: plan and execute turnover with deadlines and vendors.
• Financial performance: assist with budgets, expenses, revenue targets and reporting.
• Customer experience & sales: uphold brand, monitor feedback and drive leasing velocity.
