Job summary

The Scion Group in Bowling Green, OH seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in supervising all business functions related to operations at the property. You will bring a customer-centric mindset, strong communication, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, collegiate environment.

You may act as General Manager in their absence and will oversee staff leadership, the property budget, and daily operations while ensuring high resident satisfaction and operational

Qualifications

• Must have exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Customer-centric mindset essential.
• At least 1 year of experience in living communities or property management.
• Proficient with property management systems (Entrata preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with attracting candidates on and off campus and improving retention.
• Support the General Manager with training, coaching, development and leadership of team members.
• Manage the property onsite schedule, including after-hours on-call shifts.
• Elevate employee experience through data, conversations and team building to ensure high morale.
• Prepare, respond and advise on all community aspects including market, physical condition, policies, procedures and on-site emergencies.
• Deliver notices and file evictions in compliance with policy and local ordinances.
• Manage resident accounts and utility billing, coordinate receivables and auditing.
