Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Reno is seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, renewals and resident relations at our community. If you excel in customer service and sales, you will help maintain occupancy and create a quality living experience.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, at least one year of sales or leasing experience, familiarity with property management software like Yardi Voyager, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Minimum of one year of previous sales experience is preferred.
• One year of previous residential leasing experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs and lease renewals.
• Interact with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and retention.
• Provide excellent customer service to promote a quality living experience for all residents.
• Process renewal paperwork and ensure documentation is delivered monthly.
• Maintain accurate records of traffic activity and follow up with prospects via phone, mail or email.
• Tour property with prospects and convert inquiries into scheduled appointments.
• Coordinate move-in/out timelines with maintenance team to ensure units are ready.
