Job summary

Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica seeks a seasoned Revenue Management & eCommerce leader to guide the Reservations department, driving optimal room revenue and guest satisfaction. You will implement strategies that maximize occupancy and rate integrity while maintaining service excellence across all guest touchpoints.

• Leadership experience in a similar role is required.
• Opera PMS experience is preferred.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications is required.
• Experience in group and tour markets is preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work cohesively as part of a team and focus on guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the Reservations department and ensure all service standards are followed.
• Manage and coordinate all group and individual reservations.
• Maintain liaison with Sales, Conference, and Accounting teams.
• Produce daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required.
• Maximize revenues by ensuring all Reservation Agents are knowledgeable in room product and hotel services.

Job Description

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in a similar role required
• Previous Property Manager System (Opera) experience preferred
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
• Previous experience within group and tour markets preferred
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
