Job summary

Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, part of the Accor group, in Santa Monica seeks a facilities technician reporting to the Director of Engineering. You will repair, maintain, and inspect plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems, install electrical equipment, and replace lighting throughout the property.

Job description

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Repairs, maintains and inspects plumbing, physical structure, electrical wiring and fixtures, machinery, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, spa, kitchen and laundry equipment, in accordance with blue prints, manuals, and building codes, using hand and power tools, carpenter, electrician, and plumbing tools
• Installs electrical equipment and repairs or replaces wiring and fixtures
• Replaces light bulbs throughout the building
