Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Workday Compensation Configuration Lead to partner with HR, Finance, and Technology to design and optimize compensation solutions across the enterprise.

You will own the configuration lifecycle for annual planning, incentives, and salary structures, mentor teams, and drive automation and governance in a large, matrixed organization. This is a fully remote role within the United States, reporting to an Associate Director, with a 40-hour work week and a competitive pay

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HR technology, HRIS, enterprise systems, or related experience, including significant experience leading complex configuration initiatives.
• 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience with deep expertise in Workday Advanced Compensation and related HCM functionality.
• Experience configuring and supporting compensation processes, including annual compensation planning, merit increases, bonus and incentive programs, compensation eligibility, salary structures, and one-time payments.
• Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements, conducting solution design, and translating complex business needs into scalable Workday solutions.
• Experience leading testing activities, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), release validation, and production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of Workday Compensation solutions.
• Partner with Compensation, HR, Finance, Payroll, Technology, and other stakeholders to deliver enterprise-wide solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization; evaluate new Workday functionality for value.
• Mentor configuration professionals and influence technology strategy within a large, matrixed organization.
