Job summary

Humana is seeking a Workday Compensation Configuration Lead to partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, and Technology to design, configure, and optimize Enterprise Compensation solutions across the organization. You will lead strategy, governance, testing, and implementation, ensuring scalable, compliant processes while mentoring teammates and driving automation.

Qualifications

7+ years of HR technology, HRIS, or enterprise systems experience with complex configuration initiatives.
5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration with Advanced Compensation and related HCM functionality.
Experience configuring compensation processes including annual planning, merit, bonuses, eligibility, salary structures, and one-time payments.
Experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, and translating needs into scalable Workday capabilities.
Experience leading testing activities (unit, SIT, UAT) and production deployments.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of Workday Compensation solutions.
Partner with Compensation, HR, Finance, Payroll, and Tech stakeholders to optimize compensation processes and structures.
Advise senior leaders on governance, release management, and technology investments to maximize Workday value.
Drive continuous improvement, automation, and cross-functional optimization across enterprise systems.
Mentor configuration professionals and lead complex, cross-functional projects in a large organization.
