Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Workday Compensation Configuration Lead to partner with HR, Finance, Payroll and Technology for scalable compensation solutions across the enterprise.

As a senior SME, you will strategy, design, configure, test, and support compensation programs including annual planning, merit, and one-time payments, while guiding governance and optimization initiatives in a large, matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years HR technology, HRIS, or enterprise systems experience with complex configuration.
• 5+ years Workday configuration experience with Advanced Compensation and related HCM functionality.
• Experience configuring compensation processes: annual planning, merit, bonus, eligibility, salary structures, one-time payments.
• Experience gathering requirements, solution design, and translating needs into scalable Workday solutions.
• Experience leading testing: unit, SIT, UAT, release validation, production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Workday Compensation and related Total Rewards systems.
• Lead strategy, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support for compensation solutions.
• Advise senior leaders on governance, roadmaps, and technology investments to maximize value.
• Drive automation and process optimization, govern releases, and troubleshoot production issues.
