Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Workday Compensation Configuration Lead to act as the enterprise SME for Workday Compensation and Total Rewards solutions.

You will partner with Compensation, HR, Finance, Payroll, and Technology teams to design, configure, implement, and optimize scalable compensation processes that align with business goals. You will lead strategy, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of compensation capabilities, including annual planning, incentives, salary structures,

Qualifications

7+ years of HR technology, HRIS, enterprise systems experience including lead roles.
5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience in Advanced Compensation and related HCM.
Experience configuring annual compensation planning, merit, bonuses, salary structures, and one-time payments.
Experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, and translating needs into scalable Workday capabilities.
Experience leading testing activities: unit, SIT, UAT, release validation, production deployment.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of Workday Compensation solutions.
Serve as functional owner for compensation processes including annual planning, incentives, eligibility, and statements.
Advise on governance, releases, and enterprise initiatives; mentor team members.
Identify automation opportunities and optimize processes within Workday implementation.
