Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Workday Compensation Configuration Lead to serve as the enterprise expert for Workday Compensation and Total Rewards solutions.

You will design, configure, implement, and optimize scalable compensation processes across annual planning, incentives, salary structures, and statements, partnering with HR, Finance, Payroll, and Technology leaders. You will lead strategy, governance, and testing efforts, mentor teammates, and advise senior leaders on system investments that

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, IS, business, finance, computer science, or related field.
• 7+ years of HR technology, HRIS, enterprise systems, or related experience, including significant experience leading complex configuration initiatives.
• 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience with deep expertise in Workday Advanced Compensation and related HCM functionality.
• Experience configuring and supporting compensation processes, including annual compensation planning, merit increases, bonus and incentive programs, compensation eligibility, salary structures, and one-time payments.
• Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements, conducting solution design, and translating complex business needs into scalable Workday solutions.
• Experience leading testing activities, including unit testing, SIT, UAT, release validation, and production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of Workday Compensation solutions.
• Functionally own compensation processes including annual planning, merit increases, bonuses, salary structures, and one-time payments.
• Partner with Compensation, HR, Finance, Payroll, Technology, and other stakeholders to deliver enterprise-wide solutions.
• Drive governance, release management, and continuous improvement, including automation opportunities.
• Mentor configuration professionals and provide leadership recommendations on enterprise initiatives.
