Job summary

ABB Drive Products is seeking a VFD Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical assistance to customers, field staff, and internal teams. The role focuses on Low Voltage VFDs, 3-phase power, system wiring, and integration with control systems, with remote work in the United States.

You will troubleshoot, program drives, and document cases in Salesforce, delivering timely solutions. Ideal candidates have a related degree or equivalent experience, strong electrical knowledge, and clear

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant Electrical, Technical experience or equivalent.
Knowledge of how Variable Frequency Drives work.
Must have work authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support via phone & email for Low Voltage VFDs, commissioning, troubleshooting, and warranty evaluations.
Assist customers with drive programming, parameter configuration, and integration with control systems.
Collaborate with engineering, field service, sales, and product teams to resolve complex issues.
Coordinate with warranty team to initiate replacements and labor authorizations.
Maintain detailed documentation of support cases and best practices using Salesforce.
Stay current with VFD technologies, software updates, and industry trends.
