ABB Drive Products is seeking a Remote US-based VFD Support Specialist to provide expert technical assistance on low-voltage drives, 3-phase power, and system wiring. You will engage with customers, field technicians, and internal teams to diagnose issues, configure drives, and support warranty activities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of how Variable Frequency Drives work is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot using electrical engineering principles.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone and email for VFD applications and troubleshooting.
• Assist customers with drive programming, configuration, and integration with control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, field service, sales, and product teams to resolve issues.
• Coordinate warranty replacements and labor authorizations as needed.
• Document support cases and solutions using Salesforce Case Management.
• Stay current with VFD technologies, software updates, and industry trends.
