Job summary

ABB Installation Products Division is seeking an Inside Sales Support professional located in the United States. You will execute daily customer activities including order entry, tracking, and order management with local business units and ABB groups.

The role expands to support activities at our agent accounts. Responsibilities include coordinating with business units to track orders, ensuring on-time delivery, and assisting with bid proposals to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of technical customer support experience in Industrial/Utility fields.
• General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems preferred.
• Previous experience with B2B customer support preferred.
• Must have knowledge and skill in utilization of computer databases; empower experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily customer activities including order entry, tracking, and order management with local business units and ABB groups.
• Coordinate activities with local business units to track orders and assure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate input from local business units and ABB groups to ensure bids meet customer requirements.
• Process information on multiple projects and adapt to priority changes.
• Attend meetings to exchange information and analyze contract requirements.
• Investigate technical problems and establish corrective actions to avoid recurrences.
• May require domestic travel to customer locations or ABB sites.
• Initiate change orders and expedite collection of overdue invoices.
