Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Support professional in the United States to execute daily customer activities including order entry, tracking and order management across ABB units and agent accounts. This remote role requires coordinating with local teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate bid responses.

You will use ABB configuration tools and systems, handle multiple projects, and may travel domestically to customer sites or ABB locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of technical customer support experience in the Industrial, Utility or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems preferred.
• Previous experience with business to business customer support preferred.
• Must have knowledge and skill in utilization of computer databases; empower experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate order entry, tracking, and order management with local units.
• Use product configuration tools and business systems for order processing.
• Track orders and ensure on-time customer delivery.
• Coordinate input to meet customer bid requirements.
• Handle multiple projects and adapt to priority changes.
• May travel domestically to customer locations or ABB sites.
• Initiate change orders and expedite overdue invoices.
• Produce periodic customer reports for outstanding orders and blanket orders.
